A little late but as promised, some forgotten rap hits from the past. So let’s get to it.

Black Rob: “Like Whoa

I had almost forgotten about this classic joint but when it appeared in related videos, I knew right away what it was. It’s just got a great beat and is completely dope! :-)

Juvenile: “Back That Ass Up

back in the day, who didn’t like this tune? the video’s hot.

Juvenile fea. Lil Wayne: “Bling Bling

how about that! Where Lil Wayne got his start. look how young he was and his style was a little different too. this was off the hook! :-D

Juvenile: “U Understand

Juvenile’s delivery is so smooth. this was another one of those cool throwback hits. i never could get how he was able to say, “u understand” so quick as if it were nothing.

Lil Wayne fea. Juvenile: “Respect Us

he’s so young in this, it’s crazy. it’s from Weezy’s debut album. the beat is great and the song is real smooth as is the video which is wildly entertaining.

Lil Wayne: “Loud Pipes

Wayne’s style here is totally different compared to today’s Tha Carter III.

Lil Wayne fea. Juvenile: “Enemy Turf

they really play well off each other. this might be the best sounding out of all Wayne’s old stuff. credit goes out to tag team partner Rob “Kraze” Davis. :-)

Lil Wayne fea. bg and Mannie fre: “Drop It Like It’s Hot

listening to Wayne’s old stuff makes me appreciate how talented he was at such a young age. i also can see why some prefer it to his new more club stuff. it’s a diff. style.

Mase fea. Black Rob, DMX, P Diddy, The Lox: “24 Hours To Live

this was a huge hit and really takes me back. the lines are swicked and the video is freaking insane! ;-)

The Lox fea. Lil Kim, DMX, Louch, etc: “Money, Power, Respect

this song was dope and has to be Kim’s best work to date as she really shined in this epic.
