It’s been a little while since I sat down and put together my creative thoughts down but that finally changed on this holiday.

Thoughts of you creep in my head

As I lay awake here in bed

Wondering what you’re doing or where you are

As I look up at a dark sky full moon and wish upon a star

Can still see your pretty face as good as ever

Much like the beautiful sky and sun when we get good weather

Those penetrating dark eyes are looking in my direction

Sending shivers and giving me the proper affection

It’s like you never completely went away

Just stored away in the memory bank for a while until today

You always had a sudden cool way about ya with that nice smile

Which made going to school all the more worthwhile

Thoughts of you are back around

Isn’t it about time it finally all goes down

Determined to find out what’s been going on

That’s if you’ll let me before too long

There you stand slowly walking by

Making heads turn like yesterday of every horny guy

It was your specialty back in the day

Where they all seemed like forever May

Just to catch a drop of your smell had us stuck

Forgetting everything and only thinking damn what the fuck

Who could ever forget you not with that impeccable style

Hell yeah I always dug your entire profile

Thoughts of you were finally put to the test

And once again you truly were the best

Could never seem in that day to grasp exactly why

But that’s because you always were so fly
